I’ve been there – but I turned it around. I, too, had the same frustrations and struggles you’re experiencing now.
About ten years ago, I didn’t have the volume of clients I needed. I even wondered if starting a business (and writing a book was the right decision.)
As I was driving down the road with these thoughts in my head, I saw something pop up from the freeway heading straight toward me. I put my hands in front of my face, heard this big wooshing sound and dinging in my front seat. I peaked, put my hands on the wheel to find a shattered windshield a softball-sized hole in the windshield and a 4 ft. 5 lb semi-trucks tire iron in the front seat of my car.
I got off of the freeway, called the police and waited for them to arrive. I got out of the car and it was then that I realized the true extent of the damage. You see, there was a 6 inch gash in the steel hood of my car where the tire iron impaled and split it open like a hot knife on butter.
Each police officer came on scene and said, “you know lady, you’re on this earth for a reason.” You see, by the tire iron impaling the hood first, it changed the trajectory missing me by four inches. Well, that book I wrote, Me, Myself, and Why? The Secrets to Navigating Change became a best seller and I went on a mission trying to figure out a system that would bring in clients consistently. I didn’t want anyone to struggle with growing their business like I struggled.
The problem was, there wasn’t ANYTHING available that could teach me the ENTIRE process it would take to create a niche, pull in pre-qualified clients and teach me how to systematize my marketing and monetize my business. There also wasn’t anything to help me close the sale and there certainly wasn’t anywhere this information was available in one place.
So I took my systems and quality improvement background, and created a system that was replicatable so I never had this feeling of desperation again. Each step needed to be verifiable and repeatable and get results! It took me a while, but I figured it out!
With just one of the systems, I brought in 25 new prospects in a matter of days and filled my practice with 71 clients 4 months! (I also wrote that book, Me, Myself, and Why?
